      Your home for the week

Chalet Alisier 2 has a bright and modern interior and a 4 Diamond rating. It is an 8-10 bed chalet with four spacious ensuite bedrooms and direct ski-slope views from its balconies. It has a hot tub and sauna on a sundeck that looks out to the pistes, and is shared. The Alisier 2 is next door to Chalet Alisier 1; and, although they are entirely separate chalets, they can be booked together (for up to 25 guests).

Alisier is located in the heart of the snow-sure resort of Plagne 1800, the prettiest of all the La Plagne villages, so you are never far from a ski shop or an apres-ski bar, or a ski slope.

For skiing, it is in a great location. You can clip-in to your skis just 50 metres from the front door and ski down to the main Plagne 1800 chairlift for direct access to Plagne 2000 and the best slopes in the area. When you return, the homerun stops just 100 or so metres away and is either the blue "Jean-Marie" or "Lovatière" or the red "Les Mines" piste.

Chalet Alisier 2 has a recently revamped, open plan lounge and dining room with a sunny balcony giving spectacular views of the ski slopes, just a stone’s throw away. It offers the perfect place to relax and indulge in our afternoon teas; or with a glass of something fizzy while your chalets hosts prepare the evening meal.

The hot tub and sauna is shared with Alisier 1 and directly downstairs, on the deck below. The sauna is a barrel sauna with ski slope views for that essential post-ski recuperation. Downstairs is also a ski room with boot warmers, of course.

      Bedrooms... take your pick

Sleeps 8-10 over 4 spacious ensuite bedrooms. You can get a free space (or two) in many weeks for filling all 10 beds! On the main floor is an open plan lounge and dining room with the best views of the slopes from its sunny balcony. There’s a hot tub and sauna on the deck, downstairs, shared with Alisier 1. Downstairs is also a ski room with boot warmers. All rooms can fit a cot. Parking outside.

Large groups (up to 25) can combine Alisier 2 with Alisier 1, next door, to make a large chalet. There’s a spacious living and dining area in Alisier 1 which will accommodate everyone, so you can enjoy a delicious and hearty evening meal and a glass of wine all together.

Select dates: you can get group free spaces for filling all beds in the chalet.

      Location

The chalet is just 50 metres to where you can clip-in and ski down to the main Plagne 1800 chairlift. To ski back, take the red "Les Mines" piste or blue "Jean-Marie" or "Lovatière" from Plagne Centre which stops about 100m or so from the chalet. There’s a ski hire shop next door and all the best bars are a 2 min’ walk away. On the chalet host night off the "Petit Chaperon Rouge" is a short walk across the piste: a cosy mountain restaurant with a roaring fire.

      About La Plagne

La Plagne and the Paradiski make up the 4th largest ski area in France and it’s as snow sure as they come! It has two glaciers for skiing at Plagne Bellecôte (3250m) and the Aiguille Rouge in Les Arcs (3226m). Try the 7 Km long run down from the top of the Aguille Rouge or explore the peaks of La Plagne, where you’ll find a seemingly endless supply of powder-snow, and some of the best (and longest) descents in France.

From 1800, you will find lots of long runs for beginners, intermediate and advanced skiers and boarders with a seemingly endless supply of powdery off-piste and some of the longest descents in France.

La Plagne 1800 is one of the prettier satellites of the La Plagne ski area and has a nice variety of apres ski bars and ski shops. It is also in the treeline which adds charm and practicality for skiing on a day when the weather comes in.
