Chalet Valerie
TignesThe Valerie is in Tignes le Lac at 2100m, the central part of Tignes. You can almost ski back to the door... well, within 200 metres anyway; as the Valerie is close to the nursery slopes (complete with free drag lift) which is great news for beginners. And also very close to the Chaudannes and Paquis chair lifts which is great news for everyone else, as you’ll be whisked up to the best slopes without any queues to deal with.

Valerie is a typical Tignes ski chalet for 12 laid out over one floor with a cosy lounge, dining room and fireplace for relaxing evenings in. There’s even a chalet sauna for soothing your ski-legs. All-in-all, the perfect place to relax as your chalet host prepares afternoon tea and a 3 course evening meal each day (6 days a week).
You can almost ski back to the chalet and it's a 5 min’ walk to the nearest ski shops and bars. The Chaudannes and Paquis chair lifts (and ski slopes) are a short walk from the chalet (200m) which is great news for beginners, as it’s the best nursery slope in the area and has a free drag lift! It’s also great news for the Inter’s and experts as these two Express chairlifts not only access some of regions’ best runs - but they also avoid any queues as they’re not in the immediate vicinity of the Tourist Office. There is also a free chairlift from the top of the drag lift so beginners can progress and play safe whilst always being within a few moments of home.
